Our History: Over 30 Years of EDI Service Expertise
Founded in 1993 by business partners Kent Benton and Bruce Sandkam, EDI Partners emerged from the recognition of a market need for flexible EDI-managed solutions. Over the years, we've evolved from a local firm into an internationally-connected organization with the technical expertise to deliver EDI solutions to some of the world's largest corporations.
In 2022, EDI Partners was acquired by GS2 Ventures, LLC, while still retaining its original founders. With the infusion of new leadership, EDI Partners has continued to expand, maintaining the high level of customer service, technical know-how, and problem-solving mindset originally instilled by Benton and Sandkam, all of which has long been enjoyed by our clients.
Our Leadership Team
Collin Granger is a dynamic leader whose journey reflects a wealth of experience and success. Collin commenced his career as a CPA at EY, honing his skills over three impactful years. Following this, he ventured into the software realm, notably spending three years as the CEO of Mapcom Systems. Under Collin's leadership, Mapcom Systems achieved a triumphant exit for its owners in June 2020. Fast forward to Jan 1, 2022, Collin orchestrated the acquisition of EDI Partners, assuming the role of CEO and steering the 30-year-old company towards a new era of growth and innovation. Away from the boardroom, Collin calls Richmond, VA, home, where he shares his life with his wife, two daughters, and their German Shorthaired Pointer, Arnie. Beyond the professional realm, Collin finds joy in activities such as running, playing golf, and traveling, all while cherishing moments spent with his family.
